Court branch created and location
- An additional Regional Trial Court branch is created in the Tenth Judicial Region.
- The branch’s seat is at the Municipality of Trento, Province of Agusan del Sur.
- The Supreme Court shall assign the branch number for the newly created Regional Trial Court branch in the Tenth Judicial Region.
Supreme Court and DOJ operationalization
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the operationalization of the additional Regional Trial Court branch in the Court’s program.
- The annual General Appropriations Act shall include the funding for the operationalization.
- Funds for the operation of the newly created court shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the court and the appointment of its personnel.
Amendments to judicial organization provisions
- Section 14(k) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (as amended) is amended for the purpose of implementing the additional branch.
- Any other laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with Republic Act No. 10362 are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.
- Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 is expressly referenced as the “Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980.”
