Ownership of Public Utilities and Infrastructure

Repeal and Supersession

  • Provisions of this Act inconsistent with Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code), particularly paragraph (f), Section 534, are deemed repealed and superseded.

Penalties for Violations

  • Violators of this Act shall face six months imprisonment in addition to administrative, civil, or criminal liabilities under existing laws.
  • Government officials or personnel who violate this Act will also face perpetual disqualification from holding public office.

Severability Clause

  • If any part of the Act is found invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

Amendment of Conflicting Laws

  • All laws, decrees, executive orders, proclamations, or administrative regulations inconsistent with this Act are amended, modified, superseded, or repealed accordingly.

Implementing Rules and Regulations

  • The City Council of General Santos City, in coordination with relevant government agencies, shall promulgate necessary rules and regulations within 60 days from the Act's effectivity to ensure its effective implementation.

Effectivity

  • The Act shall take effect 15 days after its publication in at least two newspapers of national circulation.
