The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10193 is to separate the Katipunan National High School Sinuyak Annex in Barangay Sinuyak, Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, from the Katipunan National High School and convert it into an independent national high school to be known as Sinuyak National High School.
The Act concerns Barangay Sinuyak, Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte in the Philippines.
All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Katipunan National High School Sinuyak Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the newly independent Sinuyak National High School.
The Secretary of Education is responsible for including the Sinuyak National High School in the Department of Education's program for its operationalization.
The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Katipunan National High School Sinuyak Annex.
The amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Secretary of Education is authorized to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of the Act.
The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
It was approved by then President Benigno S. Aquino III, with the Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile and Speaker of the House Feliciano Belmonte Jr. signing on behalf of their respective chambers.
The full title is "An Act Separating the Katipunan National High School Sinuyak Annex in Barangay Sinuyak, Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte from the Katipunan National High School, Converting It into an Independent National High School to be Known as Sinuyak National High School and Appropriating Funds Therefor."
