The main purpose of SRA Order No. 9 is to provide guidelines for the distribution of shares in the P40.00 per LKg.-Bag producer's margin allocated to non-affiliated planters' associations.
Only the individual planter or their association can make a claim to the shares of the non-affiliated planters' associations.
The claim must be filed with the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) at the Philippine Sugar Center Building, North Avenue, Quezon City.
The claim should be accompanied by a certification from the mill company showing the claimant's total production and net planter share of production for Calendar Year 1998-1999.
The claim shall be subject to approval by the SRA Administrator and computed pro-rata based on the total shares of non-affiliated planters' associations.
The SRA will distribute the checks directly to the individual planters and send personnel to different mill districts for this purpose.
The deadline for claim submission is on or before July 14, 2000.
The order took effect immediately upon its adoption on January 14, 2000.
They are revoked, amended, or modified accordingly to conform with the provisions of this Sugar Order No. 9.
