LTO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 97-001

: The purpose is to provide rules and regulations governing the registration of undocumented motor vehicles and component parts.
: The Order covers trucks and utility vehicles of World War II vintage and component parts such as engine, chassis, and body acquired prior to the effectivity of this Order.
: Documents include the approved application and official receipt, affidavit of ownership and undertaking, Motor Vehicle Inspection Report, affidavit of publication, PNP/TMC clearance, surety bond, and insurance certificate of cover.
: The registration fee is ONE HUNDRED PESOS (₱100.00).
: The applicant must publish the approved application in any newspaper of general circulation once a week for three consecutive weeks to notify persons with claims or interests.
: If no adverse claim is filed after 30 days, all adverse claims are barred and the vehicle is accepted for registration.
: The Certificate of Registration and Motor Vehicle Registration Receipt pages must be stamped "NO RESALE OR TRANSFER WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR FROM DATE OF INITIAL REGISTRATION."
: The Regional Director of the Region having jurisdiction over the motor vehicle designates the District Office.
: A fee equivalent to one year plus fifty percent penalty is collected during initial registration.
: All orders, memoranda, rules, and regulations conflicting with this Order are deemed amended, superseded, or modified accordingly.
