Revised packaging service fees for Balikbayan boxes and other parcel sizes have been established, effective October 1, 2013, with strict guidelines for packaging and compliance enforced by area directors and postmasters.

The rates are: Balikbayan Box - P55.00; Boxes 1 and 2 (Large and Extra Large) - P35.00; Boxes 3 and 4 (Medium Sizes) - P25.00; Boxes 5 and 6 (Small and Extra Small) - P15.00.

The Postmaster or his designated employee is authorized to undertake the packaging of parcels after a thorough inspection of their contents.

No, parcels shall not be returned to the sender or any private individual for further packaging or repacking.

Only PHLPost Pak that distinctly bears the PHLPost Corporate Logo shall be utilized as the official box or container.

The concerned Area Director is responsible for ensuring continuous supplies of these materials in all post offices within his/her area.

Procurement of PHLPost Pak boxes shall be on consignment following the official design and color provided to Area Directors through Administrative Officers.

Packaing tapes and permanent markers are procured by the Area Office using the current budget for supplies and materials under MOOE (Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses).

Area Directors and Area Support Services Managers are directed to monitor the implementation and ensure compliance of Postmasters and Postal Tellers.

All other pertinent orders, circulars, and memoranda with provisions inconsistent to this order are deemed revoked and/or superseded accordingly.
