Republic Act No. 9266, otherwise known as the Architecture Act of 2004.

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) is the Integrated and Accredited Professional Organization of Architects (IAPOA).

Section 40 of RA 9266 provides for automatic membership to the UAP.

Submission of official payment receipts for membership dues to the UAP.

They must present the official receipt or certificate of payment of membership dues issued and signed by the authorized officer of the UAP.

Failure to present such official receipt/certificate will be a ground for the non-issuance of the Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card.

It took effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines, whichever is earlier.
