EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 146

: The purpose is to reorganize the membership in the Governing Board of the Philippine Coconut Authority to meet current challenges and provide more effective means of reforming the coconut industry.
: It amends Section 4, Article II of PD No. 1468 to further modify the membership of the Governing Board of the Philippine Coconut Authority.
: The Governing Board shall be composed of seven (7) members appointed by the President.
: The corporate powers and duties of the Philippine Coconut Authority are vested in and exercised by the Governing Board.
: Yes, it repeals or modifies any laws, decrees, orders, proclamations, rules, regulations, or issuances that are inconsistent with its provisions.
: The Order took effect immediately upon its issuance on March 3, 1987.
: Members are appointed by the President of the Philippines.
: The reorganization aims to enable the board to better address the exigencies of the times and improve reforms in the coconut industry.
: Joker P. Arroyo signed the Order as Executive Secretary.
