The new name of the hospital is the Dr. Lorenzo P. Ziga Memorial District Hospital.

The bed capacity is increased from fifty (50) beds to two hundred fifty (250) beds.

Section 2 requires the upgrading and increasing of existing hospital facilities and professional healthcare services to conform with and be commensurate to the increased bed capacity.

If any provision is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.

All laws, decrees, orders, issuances, rules and regulations, or parts thereof inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.

It shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

It was approved by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on March 29, 2019.
