The revised schedule of fees is prescribed pursuant to Section 64 of P.D. 705 and Memorandum Circular No. 121 dated November 2, 1990, issued by the President.
The minimum application fee for non-timber forest products except rattan, gums and resins, beeswax, gutta-percha, almaciga resin, and bamboo is P250, at the rate of P0.20 per unit of product measurement.
The application fees are: P300 for inspection of forest products, P500 for certificate of registration as poles, piles, log and lumber dealers, P500 for wood processing plants, and P500 for rattan manufacturing/processing plants.
Performance bonds are 20% of the total forest charges based on the allowable annual cut (AAC) granted but not less than P10,000 plus a reforestation deposit.
If the required cash bond exceeds P1,000, a surety bond may be posted in lieu, but the surety bond must be at least 25% more than the amount of the cash bond.
Survey fees for delimitation of boundaries on forest lands subject to timber or non-timber forest product licenses are P50 per hectare but not less than P2,000 plus actual transport costs of the survey team.
Annual rental for special forest land uses is P70 per hectare for 1 hectare or less, P150 per hectare for over 1 hectare to 5 hectares, and P250 per hectare for over 5 hectares.
The silvicultural fee is four times the amount of the forest charges.
Appeal fees are P3,000 per case for grazing, P5,000 per case for timber license agreements, and P1,500 per case for other land users.
The order took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in any newspaper of general circulation after its adoption on April 20, 1993.
