Ramon Magsaysay establishes the Municipal District of Concepcion in Misamis Occidental, organizing various sitios into barrios with a designated government seat in Concepcion, following recommendations from the Provincial Board.

The organization of the Municipal District of Concepcion is based on the recommendation of the Provincial Board of Misamis Occidental and pursuant to Sections 68 and 2630 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 1515.

The sitios organized into barrios under the Municipal District of Concepcion include Upper Dioyo, Upper Salimpono, Upper Potongan, Concepcion, Laya-an, Potongan (Small), Capule, Maligubaan, Upper Mantokoy, Cuiban, Virayan, Pogan, Soso-on, Lengatongan, Casul, and Upper Dapitan.

These sitios originally belong to the Municipality of Aloran in Misamis Occidental.

The seat of government of the Municipal District of Concepcion is at the barrio of Concepcion.

The district is bounded on the north by the Aloran-Oroquieta boundary, on the west by the Misamis Occidental-Zamboanga del Sur boundary line, on the south by a straight west-to-east imaginary line passing through Corner No. 35 of Project No. 16-D, Block II, and on the east by a straight north-to-south imaginary line coinciding with Longitude 123A38a.

The Municipal District of Concepcion begins to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and a majority of the Councilors thereof.

The Executive Order was signed and approved by President Ramon Magsaysay, through Executive Secretary Fortunato De Leon.

Section 2630 of the Revised Administrative Code was amended by Republic Act No. 1515.

The appointed officials must hold positions such as Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and Councilors.

The Land Classification Map, Province of Misamis Occidental, was certified on June 24, 1954, by the Director of Forestry (L.C.-1762).
