The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10214 is to separate the Napolan National High School-Buenavista Annex in Barangay Buenavista, City of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur from the Napolan National High School and convert it into an independent national high school to be known as Norberta Guillar Memorial National High School.
All personnel, records, assets, and liabilities of the Napolan National High School-Buenavista Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the newly created Norberta Guillar Memorial National High School.
The Secretary of Education is responsible for including the operational funding of the Norberta Guillar Memorial National High School in the Department's program, charging the initial funding against the current year's appropriation of the Napolan National High School-Buenavista Annex.
The continued operation of the school is funded through the annual General Appropriations Act after the initial funding.
The Secretary of Education is authorized to issue necessary rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of the Act.
The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
