: Republic Act No. 9909 aims to separate the Olutanga National High School - Mabuhay Annex from the Olutanga National High School and convert it into an independent national high school to be known as Mabuhay National High School.
: The Olutanga National High School - Mabuhay Annex was separated and converted into the Mabuhay National High School.
: The Mabuhay National High School is located in the Municipality of Mabuhay, Province of Zamboanga Sibugay.
: All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Olutanga National High School - Mabuhay Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Mabuhay National High School.
: The Secretary of Education is responsible for including the operationalization of the Mabuhay National High School in the Department's program.
: The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Olutanga National High School - Mabuhay Annex.
: The funding will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
: The Secretary of Education is tasked to issue the necessary rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of the Act.
: The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
: RA 9909 originated from the House of Representatives, was passed by the House on October 2, 2008, by the Senate on October 7, 2009, and was approved by the President on January 7, 2010.
