The primary purpose of Republic Act No. 11441 is to increase the bed capacity of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental from 400 beds to 1,000 beds, authorize the increase of its personnel, and appropriate funds for these changes.
This law applies specifically to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) located in the City of Bacolod, Province of Negros Occidental.
The bed capacity is increased from four hundred (400) beds to one thousand (1,000) beds.
The Board of Trustees of CLMMRH is authorized to increase and hire additional employees corresponding to the hospital's upgrading of services and increase in bed capacity.
The Chief of Hospital must coordinate with the Secretary of Health, the Secretary of Budget and Management, and the Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission.
The increase in bed capacity shall be implemented for a period of not more than five (5) years from the approval of this Act.
The Secretary of Health is tasked to immediately include the implementation of this Act in the Department's programs.
Funding for the implementation of the Act shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
All laws, decrees, ordinances, rules and regulations, executive or administrative orders, and other presidential issuances inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
