President Corazon C. Aquino issues Executive Order No. 69, increasing the Aviation Security Fee on departing international passengers from P10.00 to P30.00, in order to provide adequate funds for the National Action Committee on Anti-Hijacking (NACAH) and enhance aviation security standards.
