The Commission has increased the loyalty cash award for government officials and employees from P100 to P300 per year of service, effective July 1, 1999, to enhance morale and strengthen the merit and reward system for those with at least ten years of continuous service.

The legal basis is Section 7(e) Rule X of the Omnibus Rules Implementing Book V of Executive Order No. 292.

The loyalty cash award was increased to P300.00 per year of service.

The loyalty cash award was increased from P100.00 to P300.00 per year of service.

All government officials and employees who complete at least ten (10) and quintuple years of continuous and satisfactory service.

It refers to the period of uninterrupted employment rendered by a government official or employee with acceptable performance during that period.

The increase is effective from July 1, 1999.

The purpose is to promote morale, efficiency, integrity, responsiveness, and courtesy in the civil service, and to strengthen the merit and reward system.

It is chargeable to the savings of the agency where the government official or employee is employed.
