Q&A (NCC ICT ADVISORY NO. 2004-01)

All government agencies and their instrumentalities are required to include their respective website URLs and official email addresses in their official communication materials.

Agency letterheads, business cards, brochures, and other printed materials are specified as needing to include the website URL and official email addresses.

It is suggested that the URL and official email address appear preferably on the first page of all official communications.

Section 4 of NCC Memorandum Circular No. 2003-01 should be referred to for the official email address format.

Business cards should include both the URL and official email address of the agency, in addition to the personal email address of the official or employee.

Brochures and other printed materials should include the agency's URL and official email address along with regular contact details.

The ICT advisory was authored and adopted by Angelo Timoteo M. Diaz De Rivera, Director General of the National Computer Center.

The legal significance is to institutionalize transparency, improve public access to government information and services, and promote accountability by providing standardized and official electronic communication channels.
