The primary purpose is to enhance the well-being and protect the welfare of Office of the President (OP) officials and employees, ease their transport problems thereby improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity, and ensure the proper utilization and maximization of the OP Shuttle Service.

An Official Trip is a trip sanctioned by the Office of the President and related to the official functions or activities of the OP proper.

Authorized Passengers refer to OP and other government personnel who are not entitled to Transportation Allowance and who wish to avail of the shuttle service.

There are two routes: the Central Area route (Malacañang to SM Fairview and back) and the South route (Malacañang to Dasmariñas Town Proper and back), each serviced by one air-conditioned bus.

A minimal fare of P10.00 per ride will be charged from authorized passengers.

In cases of extreme urgency and necessity such as demonstrations, traffic re-routings, accidents, parades or processions, floods or any natural calamity, or other unforeseen events.

The requesting office must submit a letter to the Senior Deputy Executive Secretary (SDES) or Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration (DESFA) through the Director, MMP indicating the date of use, expected time of departure and return, destination(s), purpose(s) of trip, and authorized passenger(s).

Drivers are responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting mechanical problems, avoiding recklessness and improper conduct, observing courtesy, complying with office rules including wearing uniform and ID, and avoiding misuse such as route deviations or wastage of fuel.

Yes, special trips may be allowed subject to the approval of the SDES and/or DESFA and must be covered by a Special Order and Travel Permit with evaluation based on vehicle/driver availability, travel time and distance, paved routes, and advantage over public transportation.
