Republic Act No. 6394 is an act that separates the Sub-province of Quirino from the Province of Nueva Vizcaya and constitutes it into a regular province to be known as the Province of Quirino.

The capital of the Province of Quirino is the Municipality of Cabarroguis.
The governor, vice-governor, and members of the Provincial Board of the Sub-province of Quirino elected in the general elections of 1971 shall automatically become the provincial officials of Quirino.

All appointive officials shall continue to hold their respective offices, with heads of offices retaining their positions but with corresponding changes in their official designations.
The new province shall acquire corporate existence following a plebiscite to be held during the next national or local elections, wherein a majority of votes cast in the Subprovince of Quirino favor its separation and constitution as a regular province.
Yes. All provisions of Republic Acts No. 4734 and 5554 which are inconsistent with any provision of this Act are repealed.
This Act takes effect upon its approval.
