The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is empowered to adopt such policies.

The PRC must issue the necessary guidelines and procedures for the enforcement of the Code of Good Governance.

Any inconsistent executive issuances, orders, or provisions thereof are deemed modified or repealed.

It took effect immediately on June 23, 2003, the date it was signed.

It was signed by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Executive Secretary Alberto G. Romulo.

The Code will promote ethical awareness, enhance competency, maintain high professional and ethical standards, and keep professionals updated with modern trends and technology, thereby assuring globally competitive professional services and public safety.
