The President appoints the mayor and other officials as provided for under existing laws.
Except as otherwise provided, all laws applicable to regular municipalities shall apply to the Municipality of Remedios T. Romualdez.

It provides a detailed technical metes-and-bounds description starting from a point marked 1 (MBM No. 1) and proceeds through specified bearings and lots/cadastre points up to the point of beginning, totaling an approximate area of 8,147 hectares.
