Batas Pambansa Blg. 249 is an Act creating the Municipality of Lake Sebu in the Province of South Cotabato by separating certain barangays and settlements from the municipalities of T'boli and Surallah.
The barangays of Lake Sebu, Bacdutong, Talisay, Lake Lahit, Luhib, Hanoon, Maculan, Halilan, Lam Dalag, Lam Lahak, Te Kumil, Datal Lawa, Tafal; the settlements of Anko, Tansa, Ned, Kalaong; and the Tasaday Manobo Blit reservation are included.
The areas are separated from the municipalities of T'boli and Surallah in the Province of South Cotabato.

The seat of government shall be in the present site of Barangay Lake Sebu.
Ratification by the majority of votes cast in a plebiscite conducted in the affected areas within 120 days from the approval of the Act.
The President of the Philippines shall appoint the Mayor and other elective officials after the ratification of the plebiscite.
