The barrios are Bagumbayan, Bannawag, Bayawa, Estrella, Kalanawe I, Kalanawe II, Katiko, Malingon, Mangelen, Mangilala, Pidtubo, Sambulawan, Sinaculay, Suben, Tinangan, Tual, and Tuwato.

It shall be in the present site of the barrio of Sambulawan.

The barrios are Caridad, Didtaras, Gansing, Kabulakan, Kapingkong, Katitisan, Lagao, Lilit, Madanding, Maligaya, Mamali, Matiompong, Midtapok, New Cebu, Pidtiguian, Pinguiaman, Pimbalayan, Poblacion, Ponol, Sadsalan, Senaban, Sigayan, Tinomiguez, Torre, Tambak, Tumiao, Udtong, and Palumbi.

It shall be in the present site of the barrio of Poblacion.

The barrios are Ala, Banaba, Daladap, Ducay, Esperanza, Guimalia, Ilian, Kamasi, Kangkong, Kauran, Kayakaya, Maranding, Mao, Margues, Matagobong, New Panay, Numo, Pamadtingan, Sagasa, Salabaca, Saniag, Sugadol, Talisawa, Tomicor, Tubak, Tukana-logong, and Villamor.

It shall be in the present site of the barrio of Esperanza.

The barrios are separated from their original municipality and constituted into a distinct and independent municipality with the specified name.

The President appoints the mayors, vice-mayors, and councilors. They hold office until their successors are elected in the next general elections for local officials and have qualified.

They serve as appointed officers and continue in office until elected successors take over after the next general elections for local officials and after qualifying.

PD 339 shall take effect immediately.

It cites the President’s powers as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and references Proclamation No. 1081 (Sept. 21, 1972) and General Order No. 1 (Sept. 22, 1972).

The law mentions Maguindanao in the parent municipalities and states that the newly created municipalities are in the Province of Sultan Kudarat.

No additional boundary procedure is provided; it relies on the enumeration of specific barrios to define the municipal composition.

It is dated November 22, 1973, and it was done in the City of Manila.

The President shall appoint the mayors, vice-mayors, and councilors of the municipalities created under the decree.
