Presidential Decree No. 1331 created Barangay Manuyo Dos in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, with the purpose of accelerating socio-economic development and ensuring closer supervision of developmental programs, while maintaining the legal existence of the mother barangay and applying existing and future laws applicable to regular barangays.

A proportionate share of these shall be transferred to Barangay Manuyo Dos upon the President's order and the recommendation of the Commission on Audit.

All laws, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with this Decree are repealed or modified accordingly.

The Decree took effect immediately upon its signing on April 3, 1978.
