PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1331

: The main purpose is to create Barangay Manuyo Dos in the Municipality of Las Piñas, Metro Manila, to improve administrative efficiency and socio-economic development.
: The subdivisions Canaynay, Olivarez-Guevarra, and Gatchalian are separated from Barangay Manuyo to form Barangay Manuyo Dos.
: No, it does not affect the legal existence of the mother barangay, Barangay Manuyo.
: All provisions of law applicable to regular barangays, whether current or future, apply to Barangay Manuyo Dos, except as otherwise provided.
: The present elective barangay officials of Barangay Manuyo continue to perform their duties in Barangay Manuyo Dos until new officials are appointed.
: The President appoints barangay officials who hold office until their elected successors qualify or they are earlier removed by the President.
: A proportionate share of these shall be transferred to Barangay Manuyo Dos upon the President's order and the recommendation of the Commission on Audit.
: All laws, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with this Decree are repealed or modified accordingly.
: The Decree took effect immediately upon its signing on April 3, 1978.
