The funding for the two additional Regional Trial Court branches is to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

RA No. 10162 amends Section 14, paragraph (e) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, also known as The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as amended.

RA No. 10162 takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.

The Fourth Judicial Region is the judicial region where the additional two RTC branches in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, are created.

Laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with RA No. 10162 are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly to conform with this Act.

RA No. 10162 was approved by then President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III on April 17, 2012.
