Executive Order No. 350 is about creating the Municipality of Palimbang in the Province of Cotabato by segregating certain barrios from the municipalities of Lebak and Kiamba.
The barrios segregated were Palimbang, Kraan, Milbuk, Tibulos, Culobi, Kolong-Kolong, Botril, Baliango, Sinangcangan, Kanipaan, Barungis, Wal, Baranayan, Napaapon, Minos, Bulan, Tipulay, South Kulaman, North Kulaman, Akol, Wasag, Medol, Ligao, Ripulon Langali, Malatunol, Maganao, Kidayan, Balinnang, Sandiolo, Kisec, Namat Masla, Namat Paidu, Kipongot, Tuna, Sugko, Sangay, Danawan, Palili, Basiawan, Nara, North Tran, South Tran, Domodol, West Badiangan, East Badiangan, and Malisbong.
They were taken from the municipalities of Lebak and Kiamba in the Province of Cotabato.
The creation was pursuant to the provisions of Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.
It begins to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and a majority of the councilors, and upon certification by the Secretary of Finance that the municipality is financially capable of implementing the Minimum Wage Law and providing statutory obligations and essential services.
The Secretary of Finance must certify that the municipality is financially capable of implementing the Minimum Wage Law, fulfilling statutory obligations, providing essential services, and that the mother municipalities of Lebak and Kiamba can still maintain their respective governments after the segregation.
The seat of government is at the barrio of Palimbang.
The boundaries begin at Nara Point in the Celebes Sea, running eastward to the boundary line of Isulan and Lebak; following old boundaries southward and southeastward among the municipalities of Isulan, Bafiga, Lebak, and Kiamba; following the Malisbong River to its mouth at the Celebes Sea; then along the Celebes Sea coastline back to Nara Point.
They retain their present territories minus the barrios that were segregated to form Palimbang.
It was signed by President Carlos P. Garcia and Executive Secretary Juan C. Pajo.
