Executive Order No. 421 establishes the independent municipality of Belison in Antique, segregating it from Patnongon and defining its boundaries, effective upon the appointment of its local officials.

It is made pursuant to Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.

Belison, Maradiona, Delima, Buenavista, Rombang, Sinaja, Boroc-boroc, Ipil, Mojon, Concepcion, and Cotcot.

At the barrio of Belison.

It shall begin to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of the councilors.

Patnongon shall have the same territory minus that comprised in Belison, as delimited by the boundaries in the EO.

It uses a starting point (Point 1 at the mouth of Aparri Creek) and then enumerates a series of bearings and distances between points, including reference to marine waters under Section 2321 of the Revised Administrative Code.

To define the extent/character of the municipality’s boundary along marine waters according to the rule under that provision.
