QuestionsQuestions (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 444)
It was created pursuant to Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, upon the recommendation of the Provincial Board of Bukidnon.
Dangcagan was formed from certain barrios and sitios of the municipalities of Kibawe and Maramag, both in the province of Bukidnon.
From Kibawe: Dangcagan, Kitaotao, Barungkot, Kiangat, Olambayan, Miaray, Capalaran, Santo Rosario, Ketaihon, Megcamanga, Malobalo, and Bonga.
From Maramag: Kiburiao, Dalorong, Pontian, Nanapan, Kitobo, Rawari, and Balangigay.
The seat of government shall be at the barrio of Dangcagan.
It begins at the intersection of the Maramag and Pulangi Rivers.
It uses a combination of (1) bearings/directions (e.g., easterly, southerly, westerly, northerly), (2) distances specified for at least one segment (e.g., S. 29A 15' W., four kilometers), and (3) natural features (river centers) and boundary lines of existing political units.
After following the boundaries of the municipality of Maramag and municipal district of San Fernando, it reaches the intersection of the boundaries of Maramag, San Fernando, and the province of Cotabato.
It closes at the intersection of the Maramag and Pulangi Rivers, which is also stated as the point of beginning.
It begins to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of the councilors, and upon certification by the Secretary of Finance that the municipality is financially capable of implementing the Minimum Wage Law, meeting statutory obligations, and providing essential services.
Yes. It requires that after segregation, Kibawe and Maramag can still maintain their municipal governments, meet statutory and contractual obligations, and provide essential municipal services, as certified by the Secretary of Finance.
The boundary description states it is based on an approved sketch plan/map (approved by the District Engineer of Bukidnon, on file in the Office). It provides the reference basis for the boundary limits.
The last paragraph provides that the Secretary of Finance must certify that the municipality is financially capable of implementing the Minimum Wage Law and providing statutory obligations and ordinary essential services.
It was signed by Carlos P. Garcia as President. Natalio P. Castillo is listed as Executive Secretary by the President.
