Six (6) Attorney IV positions were created in the City Legal Office.
The salary grade is 23 with an authorized monthly salary of Php 46,064.00.
The qualifications include: Bachelor of Laws degree, two (2) years of relevant experience, eight (8) hours of relevant training, and passing the eligibility under R.A. 1080 (Bar examination).
Section 3 (Transitory Clause) allows appointment by hiring qualified lawyers of competence and integrity, potentially from existing city personnel and subject to approval by the Employees Welfare and Promotions Board or Personnel Selection Board and the City Mayor.
Any existing city ordinance that is contrary or inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance is repealed or modified accordingly.
The Civil Service Commission prescribes the minimum standards and guidelines for staffing patterns, including qualification standards for the positions created by the ordinance.
The ordinance took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
The separability clause provides that the remaining provisions not affected by the court's declaration remain in full force and effect.
