Republic Act No. 10248

: The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10248 is to create an additional Regional Trial Court branch in the Sixth Judicial Region to be stationed at the Municipality of Guimbal, Province of Iloilo.
: The new Regional Trial Court branch is created in the Sixth Judicial Region.
: The new Regional Trial Court branch shall be stationed at the Municipality of Guimbal, Province of Iloilo.
: The Supreme Court is responsible for assigning the branch number to the newly created Regional Trial Court branch.
: The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, is tasked to include the operationalization of the additional Regional Trial Court branch in the Court's program.
: Funds shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the court and the appointment of its personnel.
: Section 14, paragraph (g) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as 'The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980', as amended, is amended by RA No. 10248.
: All laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with RA No. 10248 are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.
: RA No. 10248 took effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.
: RA No. 10248 was approved by President Benigno S. Aquino III on November 8, 2012.
