The title of Republic Act No. 10251 is 'An Act Creating Five (5) Additional Metropolitan Trial Court Branches in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Amending for the Purpose Section 27 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, Otherwise Known as the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as Amended, and Appropriating Funds Therefor.'

Five (5) additional Metropolitan Trial Court branches were created in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila under RA No. 10251.

The newly created Metropolitan Trial Court branches are to be seated in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.

The Supreme Court has the authority to assign the branch numbers of the newly-created Metropolitan Trial Court branches in the National Capital Judicial Region.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, are responsible for including the operationalization of the new courts in the Court's program.

Funds for the operation of the newly-created courts shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of their personnel.

Section 27 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as amended, is amended by RA No. 10251.

The purpose is to accommodate the creation of the five additional Metropolitan Trial Court branches as provided in RA No. 10251.

All laws, rules, and regulations that are inconsistent with Republic Act No. 10251 are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.

It took effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.
