Republic Act No. 10540 primarily establishes four additional branches of the Regional Trial Court in the Seventh Judicial Region to be stationed at the municipality of Barili, Province of Cebu.

Four (4) additional branches of the Regional Trial Court are created.
The newly created branches will be seated in the municipality of Barili, Province of Cebu.
The Supreme Court shall assign the respective branch numbers for the newly created branches.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the implementation of this Act in the Court’s program.
The funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act and appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and appointment of their personnel.
Republic Act No. 10540 amends Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as amended.
Provisions of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 and other inconsistent provisions are deemed repealed, modified, and/or further amended by this Act.
The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.
