Republic Act No. 11616

: The main purpose of Republic Act No. 11616 is to separate the Lawa National High School-Nueva Villa Extension in Barangay Lawa, Municipality of Don Marcelino, Province of Davao Occidental, from the Lawa National High School and convert it into an independent national high school known as Corona A. Cabanilla National High School.
: The Lawa National High School-Nueva Villa Extension located in Barangay Lawa, Municipality of Don Marcelino, Province of Davao Occidental.
: The new name is Corona A. Cabanilla National High School.
: All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Lawa National High School-Nueva Villa Extension are transferred to and absorbed by the Corona A. Cabanilla National High School.
: The Secretary of Education is responsible for immediately including the operationalization of Corona A. Cabanilla National High School in the Department of Education's program.
: The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Lawa National High School-Nueva Villa Extension.
: The amount necessary for continued operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
: Within one hundred twenty (120) days after the approval of the Act.
: It takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
