AN ACT CONVERTING THE GUIMBAL, ILOILO EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) INTO A REGULAR LTO CLASS aDa DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GUIMBAL, PROVINCE OF ILOILO.
The Act converts the existing Guimbal, Iloilo Extension Office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) into a regular LTO Class aDa District Office located in the Municipality of Guimbal, Province of Iloilo.
Section 1 provides for the conversion of the Guimbal, Iloilo Extension Office of the Land Transportation Office into a regular LTO Class aDa District Office.
The Secretary of Transportation is responsible for including the operational funding of the LTO Class aDa District Office in the Department's program and budgeting.
The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Guimbal, Iloilo LTO Extension Office.
Such sums as may be necessary will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act after the initial funding.
The Assistant Secretary of the LTO, in consultation with the Secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), shall formulate the necessary rules and regulations.
The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
