The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10988 is to separate the Parañaque National High School - San Antonio High School Annex in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City, from the Parañaque National High School and convert it into an independent national high school to be known as San Antonio National High School Parañaque.
The new San Antonio National High School Parañaque will be independent from the Parañaque National High School.
All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Parañaque National High School - San Antonio High School Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the San Antonio National High School Parañaque.
The Secretary of Education is responsible for including the San Antonio National High School Parañaque in the Department of Education's program.
The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Parañaque National High School - San Antonio High School Annex.
The continued operation funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.
The Secretary of Education must formulate the implementing rules and regulations within one hundred twenty (120) days after the approval of this Act.
This Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
