Republic Act No. 10229 is an Act converting the Catanduanes State Colleges in the Province of Catanduanes into a state university, known as the Catanduanes State University, and appropriating funds for this purpose.

The Catanduanes State University is composed of the Virac Campus in the Municipality of Virac and the Panganiban Campus in the Municipality of Panganiban, both located in the Province of Catanduanes.
