The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10442 is to separate the Calape National High School Logon Annex in Barangay Logon, Municipality of Daanbantayan, Province of Cebu from the Calape National High School and convert it into an independent national high school to be known as Logon National High School.
Logon National High School is located in Barangay Logon, Municipality of Daanbantayan, Province of Cebu.
All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Calape National High School Logon Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the newly created Logon National High School.
The Secretary of Education is responsible for including the operationalization of Logon National High School in the Department of Education's program.
The initial funding for the operationalization of Logon National High School shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Calape National High School Logon Annex.
The amount necessary for the continued operation of Logon National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Secretary of Education is tasked to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of the Act.
The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
