The purpose of using color-coded folders is to expedite the processing of documents by allowing easy identification of different types of applications filed with the LTFRB, thereby streamlining procedures.
The system took effect on 01 May 2005 following the filing of three copies of the memorandum circular with the UP Law Center as required by law.
The color-coded folder for new CPC application (Form LO1) is Orange.
The color-coded folder for Fare Increase/Decrease application (Form LO8) is Blue Green.
The color-coded folder for sale and transfer of CPC (Form LO3) is Maroon.
All attachments must be properly marked and tabbed corresponding to the numbers on the Checklist/Requirement Form and must be fastened to the color-coded folder.
The color-coded checklist for Taxi Service is White, and for PUJ (Public Utility Jeepney) Service, it is Pink.
The required color-coded folder for Consolidation of Case Numbers (Form LO5) is Gray.
The Lavender color-coded checklist is used for Special Modes of Service.
It requires filing three (3) copies of the memorandum circular with the UP Law Center pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11 dated 09 October 1992.
