The Province of Batangas is reorganized into six legislative districts to enhance representation, with specific municipalities designated for each district, effective in the next national and local elections.

RA 10673 reapportions the province of Batangas into six (6) legislative districts for purposes of representation in the House of Representatives.

It takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in any newspaper of general circulation.

They will commence in the next national and local elections after the effectivity of the Act.

Balayan, Calaca, Calatagan, Lemery, Lian, Nasugbu, Taal, and Tuy.

Bauan, Lobo, Mabini, San Luis, San Pascual, and Tingloy.

Tanauan City, Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balete, Cuenca, Laurel, Malvar, Mataas na Kahoy, San Nicolas, Sta. Teresita, Sto. Tomas, and Talisay.

Ibaan, Padre Garcia, Rosario, San Jose, San Juan, and Taysan.

The City of Batangas.

The City of Lipa.

The incumbent representatives of the Second and Fourth Legislative Districts will continue to represent the City of Batangas and the City of Lipa, respectively, until new representatives of the Fifth and Sixth districts are elected and qualified.

Incumbents continue to represent the newly designated cities (Batangas City and Lipa City) under their current mandate until successors for the Fifth and Sixth districts are elected and qualified.

COMELEC is directed to issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement RA 10673.

All laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with RA 10673 are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.

Six (6) legislative districts.

The City of Batangas is the Fifth Legislative District, and the City of Lipa is the Sixth Legislative District.
