The short title of Republic Act No. 11754 is the "Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Cabiao Campus Act."
RA 11754 recognizes the PUP-Cabiao Campus as a regular campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines System.
The PUP-Cabiao Campus is located in the Municipality of Cabiao, Province of Nueva Ecija.
The PUP-Cabiao Campus is mandated to provide short-term, technical-vocational, undergraduate, and graduate courses within its areas of competency and specialization as determined by the Board of Regents.
The PUP-Cabiao Campus shall be headed by a Campus Administrator appointed or designated by the Board of Regents of PUP, upon the recommendation of a search committee and the President of PUP.
Aside from instruction, PUP-Cabiao is mandated to undertake research and extension services, and provide progressive leadership in these areas.
The Board of Regents ensures that the PUP-Cabiao Campus complies with the minimum requirements prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education on course offerings and operational standards.
All assets, personal and real, personnel, records, liabilities, and obligations of PUP-Cabiao Campus shall be transferred to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
RA 11754 respects the positions, rights, and security of tenure of faculty members and personnel employed at the PUP-Cabiao Campus under existing laws prior to its designation as a regular campus.
The Municipality of Cabiao shall continue to fund the operation and maintenance of the PUP-Cabiao Campus until funding from the annual General Appropriations Act is provided.
If any part or provision of the Act is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining parts not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
RA 11754 became effective fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
