Republic Act No. 11751 establishes the CTU-Liloan Campus and CTU-Borbon Campus, which will offer various courses and services aligned with the human resources development needs of Cebu and Region VII, while complying with the guidelines set by the Commission on Higher Education.

Republic Act No. 11751 shall be known as the "Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Liloan Campus and Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Borbon Campus Act."

The Act establishes the CTU-Liloan Campus and CTU-Borbon Campus of the Cebu Technological University in the municipalities of Liloan and Borbon, Province of Cebu.

The campuses shall primarily provide short-term, technical-vocational, undergraduate, and graduate courses within their areas of competency and specialization pursuant to their mandate and capabilities.

They are mandated to undertake research and extension services and provide progressive leadership in these areas.

Each campus shall be headed by a Campus Administrator who shall render full-time services and be appointed or designated by the Board of Regents upon the recommendation of the search committee and the President of the University.

The Board of Regents of the University sets the guidelines, qualifications, and standards for appointing the Campus Administrators.

They must comply with the minimum requirements for operation and program offerings as prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

All assets, personnel, and records, as well as liabilities and obligations, are transferred to Cebu Technological University. Faculty and personnel rights and security of tenure prior to integration are respected.

All government-owned parcels of land occupied by these campuses are declared property of the University and shall be titled under its name.

The land shall revert to the concerned local government unit or the Republic of the Philippines, as applicable.

Republic Act No. 8292, known as the "Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997," forms part of this Act.

Yes, all laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, rules, and regulations inconsistent or contrary to this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.

It took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

The necessary funds to carry out the Act's provisions shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

All powers, functions, privileges, responsibilities, and limitations granted to state universities and their officials under existing laws are deemed granted to the University and its officials whenever appropriate.
