The Mayor shall receive a salary not exceeding seven thousand two hundred pesos per year, with an additional non-commutable allowance of not exceeding two thousand pesos per annum if approved by the Municipal Board.

The Vice-Mayor is elected in the same manner as the Mayor and must possess the same qualifications at the time of election: at least twenty-five years of age, a resident of the city for at least two years prior to election, and a qualified voter of the city.

The Vice-Mayor shall act as Mayor and perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Mayor during sickness, absence, or incapacity of the Mayor, and shall be entitled to the salary and allowances of the Mayor.

Members of the Municipal Board shall receive a fixed salary not exceeding three thousand six hundred pesos each per annum.

The City Attorney is the chief legal adviser of Pasay City. His duties include representing the city in civil cases, prosecuting suits upon direction by the Mayor, attending board meetings, giving legal opinions, investigating compliance with franchises, handling prosecutions, investigating sudden deaths, and other professional services required by the Mayor or board.

The City Attorney investigates charges of crimes, misdemeanors, and violations of laws and city ordinances, prepares necessary complaints, summons witnesses, prosecutes cases in court, and may demand assistance for investigations including autopsies when necessary.

Salaries are as follows: City Attorney - not exceeding six thousand pesos per annum; First assistant city attorney - not exceeding five thousand four hundred pesos; Second assistant - not exceeding four thousand eight hundred pesos; Two third assistants - not exceeding three thousand six hundred pesos each per annum.

The municipal judge shall receive a salary of seven thousand eight hundred pesos per annum.

The clerk is appointed by the Mayor, receives a salary not exceeding four thousand eight hundred pesos, keeps the court seal and dockets, records trial summaries, administers oaths, and performs duties as fixed by ordinance in accordance with Civil Service Law.
