Republic Act No. 352

: The law is Republic Act No. 352, approved on June 4, 1949.
: It further amends Act No. 2578 (as amended by Act No. 3095) to convert the UP School of Forestry into the UP College of Forestry.
: The “School of Forestry” of the University of the Philippines is converted into the “College of Forestry.”
: The College of Forestry shall embrace all work hitherto carried on in the School of Forestry of the UP.
: It is created as a college of the University of the Philippines to be known as the “College of Forestry.”
: It amends Act No. 2578, as amended by Act No. 3095.
: The Director of Forestry shall be ex-officio Dean of the College of Forestry.
: No. He serves as ex-officio Dean without additional compensation.
: He is authorized to detail, for part-time instruction, regular members of the Bureau of Forestry as necessary for giving instruction to students.
: All previously conducted work under the School of Forestry is continued within the new College of Forestry.
: Part-time instruction may be given by regular members of the Bureau of Forestry, who may be detailed by the Director of Forestry as authorized by the law.
: It takes effect upon its approval.
: The Director of Forestry automatically becomes the Dean of the College of Forestry by virtue of his office (ex-officio).
