It amends previous DOA administrative orders by revising the buying/selling prices of selected vegetable seeds, seedlings, and vegetatively propagated plant materials produced by DA stations and seed farms.
It amends AO No. 3 (Series of 1978) and AO No. 9 (Series of 1991).
It was adopted on 17 August 1993 and signed by Roberto S. Sebastian (Secretary).
It takes effect upon approval and supersedes all other administrative orders inconsistent with it.

A one-peso (₱1.00) increase in price is added after every month after the eight (8) months maintenance period.
They shall be disposed of as commercial stocks; those not suitable for other purposes shall be condemned accordingly.
