The purpose of EO No. 227 is to amend EO No. 321, s. 2000 to authorize the transfer of certain government properties between and among the Department of Finance, the Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), to maximize savings and improve efficiency.

The Economic Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (EIIB) Building located at the National Government Center, Diliman, Quezon City is transferred to the PDEA.

PDEA assumes all outstanding obligations for the purchase of the lot from the National Housing Authority, as well as other liabilities for improvements introduced on the property.

The Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), National Housing Authority (NHA), and the PDEA shall work together for the settlement.

One floor of the EIIB Building is allocated to the DDB on a cost-sharing basis while ownership of the building remains with the PDEA.

They shall be officially transferred by the DOF to the PDEA without cost after a physical inventory and recording in DOF books of accounts.

Properties at Camp Diego Silang, San Fernando, La Union; Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet; Camp Gen. Simeon Ola, Legaspi City; Camp Delgado, Iloilo City; Camp Sergio Osmena, Cebu City; and Camp Domingo Leonor, Davao City shall be transferred within ten years.

An amount of Ten Million Pesos (P10,000,000.00) is authorized to be set aside and released to the PDEA from the President's Contingent Fund and/or other available sources.

PNP funds shall cover expenditures for repairs/development of the PNP NCRPO headquarters in Taguig, Metro Manila.

The Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management, National Housing Authority, Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
