It prohibits the registration of All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) until they are properly classified and appropriate registration guidelines are issued. Renewal of existing registrations is also prohibited, and operation of ATVs on highways is penalized.

It took effect immediately as of its adoption on January 24, 2007.

Renewal should no longer be effected; ATVs operated on highways should be apprehended with their plates confiscated and official documents cancelled; a recording fee of P500/year should be collected along with other applicable fees; and a data record for the ATV should be created in the database.

A recording fee of P500.00 per year should be collected pursuant to Section 3 of RA No. 8794, as well as costs for the sticker, IT fee, and LRF.

They shall be subject to administrative sanctions in accordance with existing Civil Service Commission (CSC) rules and regulations.

The plate should be confiscated and both the Certificate of Registration and Official Receipt should be cancelled.

No, registration of new ATVs is prohibited until classification and guidelines are properly issued.
