The resolution took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation, whichever came earlier.
The resolution was approved by Hermogenes P. Pobre, Chairman, with Associate Commissioners Mariano A. Mendieta and Alfonso G. Abad also involved in the approval process.
Section 13 empowers the Board of Electronics and Communications Engineering to adopt measures necessary for advancing the profession, which includes adopting codes such as the ECE Code Volume 2.
