RA 10248 creates an additional Regional Trial Court (RTC) branch in the Province of Iloilo, to be stationed at the Municipality of Guimbal, and appropriates funds for its operation.

RA 10248 was enacted by Congress; operationalization is mandated through inclusion in the Court’s program and funding through the General Appropriations Act, and funding is released only after actual organization and appointment of personnel.

It limits the amendment/repeal/modification to provisions that conflict with RA 10248.
Because RA 10248 amends that specific paragraph to reflect the addition of an RTC branch at Guimbal, Iloilo.

It was approved on November 8, 2012 by President Benigno S. Aquino III.
