The main purpose of Republic Act No. 6445 is to provide one additional judge for the Fourth Judicial District to preside over the Court of First Instance of Nueva Ecija, with permanent station in the City of San Jose, and to amend sections fifty and fifty-two of the Judiciary Act of 1948 accordingly.
Twelve judges are commissioned for the Fourth Judicial District under Republic Act No. 6445.
Eight judges shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Nueva Ecija and the Cities of Cabanatuan, San Jose, and Palayan; these are known as judges of the first to eighth branches. Four judges shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Tarlac, known as judges of the first to fourth branches.
Judges are stationed in the City of Cabanatuan (4 judges), Municipality of Guimba (1 judge), Municipality of Gapan (1 judge), Municipality of Sto. Domingo (1 judge, to be stationed in Barrio Baloc once the court room is constructed), and the City of San Jose (1 judge).
The judge shall be stationed in Barrio Baloc, Municipality of Sto. Domingo, as soon as the court room is constructed there.
RA 6445 amends the fourth paragraph of Section 50 and the fourth subparagraph of the second paragraph of Section 52 of the Judiciary Act of 1948 by increasing the number of judges in the Fourth Judicial District and providing their specific stations.
Four judges are stationed in the Municipality of Tarlac, Province of Tarlac.
RA 6445 authorizes the appropriation of funds from the National Treasury for the purpose of carrying out the act.
