RA No. 10301 creates four (4) additional branches of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) in the Ninth Judicial Region to be stationed at Zamboanga City, and appropriates funds for their operation.

It amends Section 14, paragraph (j) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980), as amended.
Section 3 provides that all laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with RA No. 10301 are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.
It takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
The Act’s effectivity is conditioned on the completion of publication in either the Official Gazette or two newspapers of general circulation, with a 15-day period thereafter.
